Literary competition for young people about the cultural heritage of Turin

How would you talk about Turin? What a story (true, plausible, fantastic) the objects and places of this city inspire you ? The essay contest is open to young people aged between 16 and 30 years and aims to value the material objects of cultural heritage of Turin through the eyes and words of boys and girls.

Those who want to participate can submit original manuscripts in the form of short stories, plays, poems or short stories in comics or other innovative ways. It’s possible to send material at: until April 6, 2015.

“Torino inspires me!” Has a total prize pool of € 3,000; the top 3 will win an iPad-mini, a Kindle and an iPod. The winner will be publish on local magazines.

IED rewards the talent of young people and offers a total of 16 scholarships to fully or partially cover the school fee to attend courses in areas of the Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management for the Academic year 2015/2016, starting from October 2015 in Turin.

-6 representatives for the Senato Accademico;
-2 for the Consiglio di Amministrazione;
-6 for the Assemblea regionale degli studenti per il diritto allo studio universitario;
-4 for the Comitato Universitario per lo Sport (CUS);
-Advice Departement;
-Boards of the current study/integrated three-year degree, Master’s Degree;
-Consigli delle Scuole.

The video contest YouTo(o) has officially ended! Thanks to everyone who participated and voted the videos made to promote Turin as University City!

Tuesday, the 10th of March, 2015 the jury selected the winner videos.

The jury members were: Michele Covolan (Project Manager “Turin University City”), Luke Cipriani (web editor, Carlo Miano (communication expert), Vittorio Sclaverani (cinema expert) and Paola Cuniberti (cultural operator ).

The jury decided unanimously to award the following prizes:

2nd edition of That’s Mole!, the illustration contest to promote the most creative visual interpretations of the Turin’ symbol: the Mole Antonelliana.

The competition is international and is open to anyone.

A qualified jury will select:

The winning proposal, which will be awarded a prize of € 1,000.

24 other proposals will be exhibited in front of the Mole Antonelliana, in Via Montebello, from June 23 to September 7, 2015.

Are you an art lover dreaming about being a curator?

Paratissima, the contemporary art fair, presents the second edition of N.I.C.E. New Independent Curatorial Experience, the course for curators with an approach oriented mainly to the field work, through the “learning by doing”, the analysis of case studies and a collaborative approach.

At the end of the theoretical part of the course the students will be involved in curating and organizing exhibitions within Paratissima 2015.

The best student will have the opportunity to join the staff of Paratissima as assistant to the Artistic Direction of the event, from September to November, with a refund of 1500 Euros.

The course is valid for the purchase of CFU, University credits.

Deadline for submission of YouTo(o) – studyintorino video contest has been postponed to February the 9th, 2015.

Join the contest “YouTo(o)”, you can win up to 1.000 € vouchers for technological and multimedia products, books, videos and music.

Turin city (“Torino Città Universitaria” project) rewards a prize for the best videos entitled “STUDYINTORINO”.
Make a video about StudyInTorino: Turin as a lively, young, university town, as an ideal place to study, Turin as an open and friendly city.

Upload the video (entitled STUDYINTORINO) on Youtube.
Within 2.00 pm on February 9th 2015 fill in the form with your personal data, send the link to your video and enter the contest.

A jury will select 15 videos and will award a prize for the best 3 videos (1° prize worth 1.000 €, 2° and 3° 250 €).
The best 15 videos will be voted on Facebook webpage of studyintorino: the 3 most clicked videos will win more prizes (1° prize worth 500 €, 2° and 3° 250 €)
