The winter season has come and has brought us the desire to ski. CUS Torino has organized four days in the Colomion ski zone (Bardonecchia,
Les Arnauds, Melezet, Jafferau)
– Ski/Snowboard School: 3 hours of lessons on Saturday with the
ski/snowboard instructors of the NordOvest Ski School with 3 levels of ability:
beginner, intermediate and advanced.
– Transportation: bus with departure and arrival from Via Paolo Braccini 1,
TURIN (in front of the headquarters of the Cus Torino)
– Skipass: daily with insurance
– Calendar:
 January 15, 22, 29 and February 5, 2022.
Saturday, February 5, 2022, last day of the course, final dinner for everyone with music and fun. Return postponed to about 19.30.

REGISTRATIONS
Starting from November 15 at the Cus Torino Secretariat in Via Braccini 1 and Via Panetti 30.
Documents needed:
– University students (Cus card free of charge): university fees, medical
certificate for non-competitive sports activity and completion of the Cus Torino
form, completed registration form.
– Non-University students (Cus card 20,00 €): medical certificate for non-
competitive sport activity and completion of the Cus Torino form, completed
registration form.

Starting from the next academic year, it will be possible to apply for the CUS Card during the registration process.
What is the CUS Card for?

The CUS Card is the membership card of the University Sports Centre of Turin and is compulsory
to access to the facilities. The CUS Card also allows:
 subscription to courses
 rental of beach volleyball, five-a-side football, seven-a-side football and tennis courts
 access to the convention circuit

The card is valid for one year, from 1 st September to 31 st August.

Cus - mese di sport gratuito
From the beginning of September, sports activities at CUS Torino will resume with the Sports’ Month: over 30 days of free activities in CUS Torino facilities.

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for those who want to try a new sport and test their own abilities , whether they are university students or not. All activities will be for free and taught by qualified instructors.

From climbing to athletics, canoeing and rugby, sports allow participants to master a personal talent, with advice from instructors and professional coaches.

Last week to benefit from the initiative launched by CUS Torino for students and Politecnico di Torino staff members.

 

By showing your CUS Card until June 29, you can RENT A FIELD FOR FREE!

 

The fields are the following:

VIA PANETTI 30: by showing your CUS CARD you will have an hour of free rent, from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 4PM, choosing a sport among #Beachvolleyball, #5-a-sidefootball and #Tennis. Reservation is compulsory: please call 011.6056231.

CORSO SICILIA 50: by showing your CUS CARD you will have an hour of free #Tennis court rent, from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 10 AM, and from 2 PM to 3 PM. Reservation is compulsory: please call 011.6615488

WASTEMOB2018

The WASTE MOB competition to raise awareness on littering is back. A clean-up event along the Po River organized by City of Turin, University of Turin, Politecnico, CUS Torino and Amiat Gruppo Iren

This year, during the “Festival of sustainable development” and the initiative “Let’s clean up Europe”, Città di Torino, Università, Politecnico, CUS Torino e Amiat Gruppo Iren will team up to make the embankment of the Po River more beautiful and safe, starting from Piazza Vittorio Veneto. In fact, the embankment is one of the most important  areas of Turin’s landscape;

Where and when?

May 27, 2018

Meet-up in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, in the area between Lungo Po Armando Diaz and via Alfonso Bonafus, at 2.00 PM.

Ends at 5.30 PM.

Last year, 150 participants collected 140 kg of waste in 5 kms. This year, we hope to exceed the number of 500 participants. Everyone is free to register: you can participate in a team as well as individually, by registering on the website www.letscleanuptorino.it (minors must be accompanied by a parent). Each participant will receive a welcome kit with a t-shirt and bags for the clean-up.

Program:

2.00 PM: Meet-up in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, in the area between Lungo Po Armando Diaz e via Alfonso Bonafus. Distribution of t-shirts and bags

2.30 PM: Start of the competition

5 PM: Arrival in Piazza Vittorio Veneto

International University Challenge 2018

The international university challenge is back on the Turin university sport fields.

The event, dedicated to sport competition among students from Unito and Polito, will be held from Tuesday 22nd May and Saturday 9th June 2018, at the CUS Torino di Via Panetti 30.

The competitions will involve different kinds of sport, starting from women’s and men’s five-a-side football, to beach volleyball and to mixed volleyball (4 vs 4). From men’s basketball (3 vs 3) to women’s and men’s tennis. Each team may enter a tournament of its choice.

With an enrolment fee of 15 euros, students will be allowed to take part in a tournament and in the conclusive cocktail party and they will receive as well the official T-shirt of the event for free.
