The first edition of the “Festival of Education: Educational connections” starts on 12th November. A long weekend full of workshops, conferences and meetings with national and international guests.



This is an event for all the people who work, study or are interested in this theme. Didactics and its

innovations will be the focus of these four days, thanks to organized areas for discussion, exchange and continue growth and the creation of permanent working groups.



From 12th to 15th November

the events will take place in different places of the city centre and will be discussed themes like “educational chain”, “innovative didactics”, “context didactics”, “school and area”, “learning areas” and “access to formative paths”.

Several city institutions have taken part in the realization of this event – among them there are Accademia delle Scienze, Accademia di Agricoltura, GAM – Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Castello di Rivoli – Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, MEF – Museo Ettore Fico , PAV – Parco Arte Vivente – Centro d’Arte

Contemporanea, Museo di Arti Decorative Accorsi – Ometto, MAcA – Museo A come Ambiente – Environmental Museum.

Would you like to learn a new foreign language or to brush up your English?

 On 4th November at “La Vetreria” in via Regina Margherita 27,  English, French, Spanish and Arabic courses are going to start. Don’t miss them, you can enrol at a very low price!

 The lessons will take place on Wednesdays at 7 or 7.30 pm.

The activities organized by Torino Capitale Europea dello Sport 2015 are going on. September and October are offering a calendar rich in events in order to stimulate sport attendance and physical activity in Turin.

Until 15th November the Pinacoteca dell’Accademia Albertina delle Belle Arti hosts the collection “De Arte Gymnastica. La rappresentazione artistica dello sport dal barocco al contemporaneo”.

The project PALESTRE A CIELO APERTO is going on as well: on Mondays at Parco Ruffini, on Wednesdays in piazza d’Armi and on Fridays at parco del Valentino. The Sports Medicine information counter is open from 5 to 9 pm and the guided walks with group stretching will take place from 5.30 to 7.30 pm.

The last meeting of the several planned conferences will take place on 30th and 31st October at Centro Congressi Unione Industriale and the theme will be Lo Sport per la promozione della salute: dal portatore di protesi articolare alle necessità dell’atleta”. Join us, Turin is waiting for you!

“Premio Buscaglione”: it is now possible to enrol in the great competition for post-contemporary singer-songwriters.


The “Premio Buscaglione”, which is now at his fourth edition, is becoming popular as one of the most interesting Italian event dedicated to the singer-songwriter song.


You can enrol only on the website of the event. Among all the competitors ten artists will be then selected to perform live at the semi-finals, which will take place in Turin in March 2016.

The enrolment in the “Premio Buscaglione” is free. You only need to fill in the form available on the website from 15th September to 15th November 2015 and upload 2 Youtube links of songs of your repertoire:

-1° link of a recorded song;

-2° link of a live performance.


Both songs must satisfy these requirements:

– they must be ready to be sung by the artists;

– they must be original songs;

– they must be sung in Italian;

– they can’t contain advertising messages in favour of third parties or damaging messages toward third parties;

– they can’t be only instrumental;

– they can belong to any musical genre except for orchestral music and cover versions.

The two uploaded songs will be divided in the following way: the first one will be open to the public which can freely listen to it, vote for it and share it; the second one can only be listened by the technical jury. All the details of the selection are available on the website of the event.

From 16th November to 16th December will be possible to vote for your favourite artist on the Facebook page of the “Premio Buscaglione” and on 20th December the names of the 10 artists selected to continue onto the semi-finals will be published.


First prize: 3,000 euro + a tour in 5 festivals partner of the event.

Critics Prize: 1,500 euro + a tour in 10 festivals partner of the event

“Tempesta Dischi” Prize: one finalist will be selected for the label compilation

National admission tests results


From today you can have access online to the personal results of the admission tests for the Faculties of Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthesis. Tomorrow will be published the results of Veterinary Medicine test and thuersday the Architecture ones.

Those who have taken the national test to be admitted to these courses can look at their paper online from 2nd October, while from 7th October the national ranking will be published on UNIVERSITALY personal area. At that time, will be 3 possibilites:

Assigned: your position in the ranking allows you to gain access to your first choice course. You must enrol within 4 days (the day of the ranking publication is included and Saturday and Sunday are excluded);

Reserved: your position in the ranking give you access to a university which is not your first choice. You can decide to enrol at the university you have been assigned or to wait for the updating of the rankings. The first updating will be on 14th October. In this case you must express your intent to enrol within 5 days;

Waiting: at the moment you do not have access to a university. Within 5 days you must express your intent to enrol and wait for the updating of the rankings. The first updating will be on 14th October.


For the courses of Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthesis, Veterinary Medicine in Turin you must enrol online on your personal page on the website of Università degli Studi di Torino.


For the course of Architecture you must enrol on your personal page on the website of Politecnico di Torino.

The Camplus Announcement (residence Lingotto and residence Madama Cristina) about housing for the academic year 2015/2016 has been published.
Camplus, created in 2007 is a network of ten university residences in Bologna, Catania, Milano, Roma and Torino; nowadays more than 800 students from all around Italy and from abroad live there.

In the announcements, attached in the footnote, you can find all the information related to the Camplus residence you are interested in.
To be admitted at Camplus you need to apply for it.
The application form, which can be filled in online only, consists of four main sections which aim at giving a synthetic but complete overview of the student’s general information, education, personal attitudes and family.

Twelve scholarships for international students willing to enrol in Università degli Studi di Torino second cycle degree for the a.y. 2015-2016 are available.
These scholarships are addressed to students who, regardless of their citizenship, have obtained their entrance requirement for Master Degree (First Cycle Degree or equivalent qualification). Above-mentioned qualification must be achieved abroad at foreign institutions operating outside of the Italian system.
Deadline: 26th August 2015, at 11 am (Italian date and hour).
Scholarships will be granted as follows:
6 scholarships to students with a foreign degree obtained in one of the member states of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Hungary), as well as in EFTA/EEA Countries Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland;
3 scholarships to students with a degree obtained in the Popular Republic of China (P.R.C.);
3 scholarships to students with a degree obtained in all the other Countries;

Scholarships will cover enrolment taxes and living costs in Turin. The total amount of the scholarship is 9.000 euro per year, 750 euro per month for 12 months, gross of all charges for the beneficiary’s account.
Moreover, scholarship-winning students will be required to pay only the amount of the first instalment of the enrolment tax per year, and will be exempted from the second instalment. Applications are admitted just for the first year enrolment, applicants enrolled with a shortening of course will not be accepted.
Erasmus Mundus students or MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) scholarships beneficiaries will not be accepted.
