Amnesty International will also this year organise I lunedì dei diritti umani, a series of conferences aimed in the first place, at University world, about present issues, related to human rights sphere, with the participation of Amnesty International teachers, researchers and experts. The event is sponsored by Università di Torino. Entry is free of charge

Best Architetcture competition

BAC – BEST Architecture Competition is a totally free Architecture competition, organised by BEST Torino association and dedicated to all Politecnico di Torino students.

 

 

On March 12th, there will be a workshop, with nearly 300 participants, where students are invited to create their own project ideas referring to a specific topic. This will give the chance to share opinions, by putting into practice their knowledge, acquired during their studies.

Culicchia | Luogo Comune

Ti presento un autore is an initiative promoted by Collegio Universitario Einaudi, to give University students and Turin community the chance to meet writers and become keen on reading. It includes periodic meetings with the Italian authors.

Part of the event is the meeting with the author Giuseppe Culicchia, which will be held March 9th at 6.30 pm at Biblioteca Centrale Collegio Einaudi – via Maria Vittoria, 39, Torino. He will present Mi sono perso in un luogo comune – dizionario della nostra stupidità (Einaudi, 2016).

The workshop Urban micro-landscapes. Tasting the Landscapewill be held at Aula 10V, Castello del Valentino – Viale Mattioli, 39, Torino on March 9th and March 16th 2016. The main subject are public open spaces surrounding the Sports Centre “Parri”, in san Salvario,Turin.

Project topics will be presented in according to the Education Forum di IFLA, International Federation of Landscape Architects, del 53rd IFLA World Congress (Torino, 22.4.2016).

From February 9th to March 13th 2016, an accurate selection of Viscuso’s sculptures, coming from prestigious private collections, will be displayed.

During his stay in Turin, Emanuele Viscuso promoted an internship with Albertina students, coordinated by Professor Raffaele Mondazzi, a sculpture teacher. The artworks created during the internship are being displayed at Salone d’Onore.

Opening time: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun, form 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. Last admission at 5.30 pm. Closed on Weds.

Salone d’Onore, which houses the students’ artworks, is open on Saturday from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm and on Sunday from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.

Programme

Politecnico di Torino is partner of OpenMed – Opening up Education in South Mediterranean Countries, an international cooperation project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Capacity Building programme of the European Union.

The overarching goal of OpenMed is to raise awareness and facilitate the adoption of Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Educational Practices (OEP) in the Arab Mediterranean region, with a particular focus on Egypt, Jordan, Morocco and Palestine.

CAVALCANDO UNA COMETAFind out how the Solar System was formed!

 

Two research protagonists, Amalia Ercoli Finzi – Dipartimento di Scienze e Tecnologie Aerospaziali del Politecnico di Milano – and MARIA ANTONIETTA PERINO – Thales Alenia Space and International Space University, will discuss about comets and their importance, as well as how the two protagonists succeeded in reaching some stages during the Solar System exploration.
