Scholarships funded by the University of Turin for the academic year 2016-2017

The University of Turin informs students who are enrolled in the academic year 2016 – 2017 that, the annoucement to apply for scholarships funded by the University will be published within the first half of the month of October 2016.

These are the conditions to apply for scolarships:

  • Possession of the requirements of merit to get an EDISU scholarship, but with an ISEE between € 23,000.00 and € 25,000.00;
  • Failure to meet the requirements of merit required for obtaining a scholarship EDISU due to special events occurred (for example health problems, loss of a family member, job loss, etc) and with an ISEE less than € 23,000, 00.

UniTO’s Job Day on 26th October 2016

Did you get a degree no more than 2 year ago at Unito?
Or are you in your last year of the course of study of Unito?

UniTo organises a Job Day at Pala Alpitour, in Corso Sebastopoli 123 from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m.. This Job day will allow you to meet the most important Italian and international companies, you can leave your curriculum and get a first interview.

If you want to enroll for the event, just follow these steps:

  • Enter the restricted area of the portal of UniTo (MyUniTo) and click on ‘Initiatives’ from the menu ‘Enrolments’
  • Select your carrier
  • Click on the initiative ‘Job Day Unito 2016’
  • After receveing a confirmation message, click on ‘Enrol’
  • View and possibly print your registration

The event is completely free.

Language courses at Collegio Einaudi

The language courses for the academic year 2016/2017 for university students under 30 at the sections of Collegio Einaudi are ready to start.

Fill out the form online by 7th October 2016.
If you want to attend an English course, you must pass an entrance exam that will be held on the following dates:

– Monday 10th October, Section Mole, via delle Rosine 3, at 7 pm
– Tuesday 11st October, Section Crocetta, corso Lione 24, at 7 pm
You don’t have to take this exam if:

– you have already attended a language corse in the academic year 2015/2016 and you intend to continue the course
– you have passed the international language certification (Cambridge, IELTS and TOIEC) in 2012 until today (you must send a copy to corsi@collegioeinaudi.it by 7th October 2016 at 12 am)

REGISTRATION TO BACHELOR ADMISSION TEST IS OPEN

The call for admission to the 2016/17 undergraduate programs is open.

To be eligible for admission at the Politecnico di Torino, you must have completed Upper Secondary School, hold a Diploma, and have attended school for at least 12 years.
All Bachelor degree programs offered by the University are “planned access courses” that restrict access by accepting students according to the highest score obtained in the admission test, up to a predetermined maximum number of students.

IED – Istituto Europeo di Design e Accademia Aldo Galli – IED Como is making available 50 Scholarships with partial covering to attend three-year Courses starting from October 2016.

 

Scholarships are divided per cities:

5 scholarships Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli – IED Como
8 scholarships IED Firenze

For the very first time a course for music engineers in Turin

A deal between Politecnico di Torino and Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi.

A new profession, a sort of music engineer: Politecnico and Conservatorio have signed a new deal. This technician/artist will have to use his creativity to adapt his work both on an artistic level and on audio-video post production. New chances for Cinema and Media students, and for Politecnico Informatics Engineering students. At the same time, related to classical studies, Conservatorio will offer a specific education on acoustic and sound basis, in order to support Scuola di Musica Elettronica above all.
