The former university canteen in c.so Lione 24 will become “La Manica”, a new and completely renovated area for the students of the Einaudi University Residence.

By restoring the former canteen’s premises in the district of Crocetta, 41 new beds, common areas, guest rooms and a study room will be built. The courtyard will be renovated as well and it will turn into a perfect place where students can study and relax.

Renovation work will be carried out thanks to the subsidies given by MIUR (Ministry of Education, University and Research), Compagnia di San Paolo (Private Banking Foundation), the Region of Piedmont, the University and the Polytechnic of Turin.

After last summer’s experience, a more extended version of Campus Diffuso Universitario (widespread university campus) is taking place again thanks to the collaboration between the City of Turin, Edisu Piemonte (the regional body for the right to University studies), the University and the Polytechnic of Turin.

There are 18 different sites with 2300 study stations divided into indoor and outdoor areas, together with heated tensile structure on the whole territory of the City. Here students will be able to safely study with a wi-fi connection, water, sockets and so much more. Where does it all happen? You will find the answer in the list and in the map below.

It won’t take long before we reveal the dates on which the renovation work for each structure will start.
