After lectures have been suspended for over three months, due to the COvid-19 pandemic, laboratories and facilities at Politecnico di Torino will re-open.

Around 100 students will have access to Politecnico’s labs, where they will be able to complete their research work for their research degree thesis, all in compliance with safety measures, and following the same protocols which have been put in place for people working in University premises. The protocols include mandatory participation in an online training course on measures to tackle the Covid-19.

At present, students allowed to benefit from face-to-face lectures are only around one hundred but in September, once the new Academic Year begins, many more people will be able to take part in them, always in compliance with safety regulations.

In particular, students will have access to classrooms, lab seminars, lab courses with professors and other students, design classes, architectural design ateliers, student teams, problem solving and challenge classes (in which groups of students from different departments solve complex problems and create innovative solutions), experimental laboratories, experimental papers, and internships.
Classrooms will be equipped to ensure that students are able to attend their courses, be it online or on-campus.
