On May 24 th there will be the admission test for IAAD University (Institute of Applied Art and Design).
The day will start at 9.30 am with the participants’ registration, then they will have to take a practical test and finally a personal interview.

On May 22 nd at 2.30 pm the non-competitive #FreeLittering challenge Waste Mob is back for its third annual. It is an awareness-raising initiative sponsored by Università degli Studi ( UniToGO ), Politecnico ( Green Team ) CUS Torino and Università del Piemonte Orientale .
Students and staff will participate to this unique competition, where teams will compete in collecting waste along the Po river, starting from CUS sports center in Corso Sicilia and ending at the Castello del Valentino.
The goal of the event is to raise awareness about “littering”, an increasingly common phenomenon in which garbage is left in public areas.
A waste collecting kit will be provided to each participant and at the end of the day an aperitif will be served.
The deadline for the registration is May 19 th .

International students with an international degree who want to apply for a Bachelor, a Master’s degree or a single-cycle Degree Program must fill the online application form on Apply@Unito in the following periods:

The Department of Culture, Politics and Society of the University of Turin organizes the sixth edition of the summer school “Understanding the Middle East", which this year is dedicated to the issue of identities and their politics. The purpose of the summer school is to provide useful tools to better understand the complexity of Middle East. The classes will start on June 17 th and will finish on June 21 st (included) . In order to be admitted you need to have a bachelor degree with a minimum score of 100/110 or you have to be enrolled in a degree course mainly focused on Middle East. A good knowledge of the English language is also required.

Were you born between July 2 nd 2000 (included) and July 1 st 2001 (included) and are you a citizen of one of the Member States of the European Union? Then you can participate to DiscoverEU, an European Union project that allows you to travel all around Europe.
All candidates will have to undergo a quiz and answer a question that will determine the winner, who will have the chance to travel for a period of at least 1 day and at most 30 days, from August 1 st to January 16 th 2020.

The information session called Financial education for millennials will take place on May 8 th at Informa Giovani and will be held by Starting Finance, a community created by two university students for all economics and finance fans. The main topics that will be covered are public debt, spread and many others. The entry is free and subject to availability.

You have until May 16 th to participate to the admission notice for the 200-hour project Progetto Buddy- Do you need suppor-TO?
It is an accommodation and assistance project for international students. In order to sign up for the project, you will have to be duly registered to the Università degli Studi di Torino. You will be also required to have adequate language skills to assist international students as a peer-to-peer tutor, with a part-time cooperation.

Dall’orso alla Pantera. Le proteste studentesche come fattore di innovazione is the title of the exhibition curated by the Historical Archive of the University of Turin on the occasion of the Archivissima festival.
The exhibition will be open until June 21 st and will take place at the Palazzo del Rettorato in Turin. The show starts with an episode of 1755, when the students strongly opposed to the fact that the quadrangle of the Rettorato could host a show with animals, which was thought to be offending to the honor of the University. The exhibition shows with particular regard the student protests of the 60s. Photos and flyers of the Italian student movement la Pantera (1990) will be displayed as well.
