The CRT Foundation has financed the Talenti per l’Export (Talents for Export) project, with the aim of providing young graduates from universities in Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta with a training course useful for developing managerial and business skills in the field of export and internationalization.
The project is an opportunity to enrich your curriculum vitae and to access employment opportunities through an internship. The project is open to graduates in any discipline. The training course will start in November and will end in April 2020, the activities will take place
during the weekend.
The subjects will be:

 Fundamentals: business administration, marketing, law, international economics, etc.
 In-depth analysis: the role of the export manager; international marketing; digital marketing; study of new markets and state risks; customs goods; international trade law; intercultural communication, etc.
 TEAMWORK: immediate application of knowledge with group work on concrete business cases; presentation of the teamwork during the intensive final weekend
 TEAM BUILDING for the development of soft skills
 FOCUS on export areas: Europe, Middle East, China, America
 EXCEL: tailor-made training modules
 INTENSIVE FINAL WEEKEND with presentation of the results of the teamwork.

On Thursday, October 10, the course Becoming Entrepreneurs begins with its first edition for the academic year 2019-2020. The transversal course of introduction to entrepreneurship is open to students, graduates and PhD students, and consists of 10 weekly meetings. The aim of the course is to guide participants in the world of business, to stimulate the development of their entrepreneurial attitudes.
Two editions will be held during the Academic Year, each of which will take place at one of the University’s didactic-scientific centres, dedicating a lesson to deepening the entrepreneurial dynamics of the production sectors related to the centre itself.
The first edition is specifically aimed at students of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. At the course will be admitted graduates, PhD students, students of other universities, depending on the number of places available and in accordance with the Regulation Taxes and contributions of the University.
The second edition will begin on 25 February 2020 at the Polo di Scienze Umanistiche – CLE.

The Dams of Università degli Studi in collaboration with Rai Teche – Mediateca Rai Torino is organizing an internship “Il mestiere dello scrittore”.
PROGRAM
Wednesday 9 October

10:00 a.m-13:00 p.m What is a series? Repetition and variation on theme. Series (vertical) and serial (horizontal).
2:30-5:30 p.m. The TV concept (character, arena, genre, theme). The formats of seriality. (examples)

Thursday 10 October
10:00 a.m-13:00 p.m The development steps of a series (concept, subjects, lineup). The screenplay. Rules and formats.
2:30-5:30 p.m. The practical organization of writing for TV. Showrunner and writer’s room. Producers, networks, editors.

The internship is reserved for 25 people. Those who wish to enrol must send an e-mail by 6 October to: franco.prono@unito.it indicating age, year of enrolment at the University and Course of Studies, and stating any previous experience in the field of cinema and television and expectations for work after university studies. It is necessary to guarantee the presence for all the 12 hours of the internship.

The international ranking of universities QS Graduate Employability Rankings has published the ranking  of universities based on employability and prospects for students. Politecnico di Torino rises to position 111-120, bringing it closer to the 100 universities out of the 758 evaluated. Politecnico is present with two indicators that represent two important excellences of the University: the high employment rate of graduates at Politecnico di Torino in a short time period and the strong connection with the industrial context for the creation of job opportunities. In the indicator on the rate of employability within a year after graduation, it ranks 14th in the world, while on partnerships with companies for internships have improved to 97th position.

Corepla, a national consortium that deals with the salvaging and recycling of plastic packaging, has launched a call for creativity aimed at university students. The challenge is to find innovativesolutions for the design and recycling of plastic packaging.

The deadline for the application to participate in the project “Elaboration of innovative communication strategies for the promotion of emerging cultural production” has been extended to September 19th.
Università degli Studi has financed two scholarships of 6000€, lasting 6 months. The scholarships are only for the participants of the workshop that will take place from September 30th to October 18th, within the Interdepartmental Center for Knowledge Interchange of Università degli Studi di Torino, called IC4KI.
The contest is open to all those who are not 30 years old yet, and who have a Bachelor Degree, a Master’s Degree or a Laurea a Ciclo Unico at Università degli Studi di Torino or are enrolled in a Master’s Degree or Specialization course at Università degli Studi di Torino.
The project offers an innovative training opportunity based on creativity, promotes and enhances the contamination between science, innovation and technology in the activities of young people and young artists.
