Applications are now officially open for the AGON Project 2025/2026, a scholarship program promoted by the Turin University
Sports Center (CUS Torino) in collaboration with the Politecnico di Torino, the Università degli Studi di Torino, EDISU
Piemonte, and the Einaudi College.

Created to support talented young athletes from across Italy and abroad, AGON allows them to access high-level academic
education without giving up competitive sports.The program represents a virtuous model where sport and academics coexist,
offering tailored support, educational flexibility, tutoring, and an ideal environment for personal and professional growth.
Selected students are a living proof that it is possible to pursue both a successful athletic and academic career, preparing
them for life beyond competitive sports.
The Agon project aims to: enhance the technical development for sports disciplines identified by the project. Promote the
region’s image through the values of university sports and strengthen Turin’s academic system as a hub for top-level student-
athletes.

Eligible disciplines for applicants practising competitive sports: Men’s and Women’s Rugby, Olympic Wrestling (M/W),
Athletics (M/W), Men’s Table Tennis, Women’s Table Tennis, Women’s Volleyball, Men’s Basketball, Sprint Canoeing Men and
Women, Rowing Men and Women, Women’s Field Hockey, and Ice Skating Men and Women.
The committee will reserve one spot for a student-athlete with a disability, in tennis or canoeing,
Disciplines in which CUS Torino has sports structures capable of supporting high-level para-athletes under 35.
Scholarships available : 14 full scholarships covering university tuition, meals, accomodation, use of CUS Torino facilities
and gyms, access to qualified coaches and trainers, and sports equipment. 10 light scholarships covering university tuition,
access to CUS Torino facilities and gyms, and provision of coaches, trainers, and equipment.

with all required documentation, by 1:00 PM on July 17, 2025. Applications submitted in any other way will not be accepted.
