On Tuesday 29th June a new campus of the University of Turin opened in the former offices of the daily newspaper La Stampa in Via Chiabrera 32. The new Campus will have new classrooms, laboratories and ASTUT – Archivio Scientifico e Tecnologico dell’Università di Torino (Science and
Technology Archive of the University of Turin).

It will contain classrooms with a maximum capacity of 3.185 students, as well as the exhibition area and laboratories of the Science and Technology Archive of the University of Turin. On the 3.255 square metres-large ground floor there will be five classrooms for a seating capacity of 1.250 and a snack bar. On the first floor, which is 3.175 square metres-large, there will be four classrooms for a capacity of 1.120. On the 2.787 square metres-large second floor, there will be five classrooms for a capacity of 815 and a big study area.

Then, on the two basements, you will find the museum with laboratories and a wide exhibition area.
