Torino Città Universitaria and Informagiovani of Turin (youth Info point service) will dedicate a whole weekend to the students attending 4th and 5th year of high school, on Friday 8th May and on Saturday 9th.

In these two days students will be introduced to local universities having at their disposal the wide range of educational offer in Turin and a high-qualified orientation service and a journey of reflection and shared experiences.

The location is going to be Murazzi Student Zone (Murazzi del Po, left-hand side river bench, Arch 26), from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The students will be able to take part into three guidance activities:

UNIVERSITIES INFORMATION STANDS AND HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOOLS DESKS: a good occasion to ask for information about courses, activities, matriculations … but also about the next Open Days offered by Universita’ degli Studi di Torino – Politecnico – Accademia Albertina – Istituto Europeo di Design – Istituto d’arte Applicata e Design – Iusto Rebaudengo – Vittoria Scuola Superiore per Mediatori Linguistici – Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi.
LIVING LIBRARY: each high school student can consult, talk and ask questions to university students coming from the main universities and higher education schools about their choice, the exams and the courses. “Book-students” will share their experiences, motivation and interests.
MOTIVATIONAL AREA: a starting point for a personal reflection about orientation with the help of professionals.

Furthermore it will be possible to gather more information by attending an informative aperitif where local institutions will deliver speeches about services provided.

On Friday 8th May, from 6 to 8 p.m,. EDISU Piemonte (in charge of scholarships, colleges…) and CUS Torino (Centro Universitario Sportivo, university sports centre) will be present.

On Saturday 9th May, from 6 to 8 p.m., CEST (Centro per l’Eccellenza e gli Studi Transdisciplinari, centre of excellence and cross-disciplinary studies) and ITS (Istruzione Tecnica Superiore, high school technical education) will be present.
