The following guidelines & Info can help you to present yourself successfully and highlight your skills in order to be the chosen candidate. The first step is to describe your personal skills and competences, your student timetable in order to understand which job is more suitable for you.

Secondly you can fill out a resume by downloading the Europass CV from:

European form here, it has to be clear and synthetic in order to highlight your skills. Along with the resume a motivation letter could be necessary in order to describe the reasons for applying to a position.

You could bring your CV to the Job agencies, Mediation firms and the Job selection agencies. Very frequently shops offer part-time job to students. Sometimes working during weekends is requested. Offers are often displayed on shop windows: there you can leave your CV.

Ads and offers can be found online or on daily newspapers and magazines such as Il Sole 24 Ore or Lavoro & Carriere of SecondaMano. The websites of many important companies have a special Section “lavora con noi”(work with us) section where you are allowed to fill out your own application.

Opening an account on social network, such as LinkedIn could be very useful.

Gathering right information about companies offering a job is important in order to avoid fraud and deception.

 

 

Part-time job &collaboration

Each year the Universities of Torino offer the opportunity to work part-time at its facilities. A specific competition call draws up a ranking of the selected students who could offer their collaboration with University. The salary is set at 9,00 euro for a maximum of 200 hours. The University provides insurance coverage against accidents and civil liability.

Garanzia Giovani at the European Plan whose target is fighting young unemployment.

EU country members having an unemployment rate over 25% are entitled to get funding in Youth policies aimed at raising education, vocational guidance and professional training for Neet (Not in Education Employment Training).

You can apply if you are young between 15 and 29 years old, resident in Italy, If you are EU citizen or foreign not EU, regularly living in Italy, not working or enrolled at University or attending school.
