Professor Enrica Boda, researcher of the NICO – Neuroscience Institute Cavalieri Ottolenghi – and of the Department of Neurosciences of the University of Torino is among the finalists of the woman of the year award 2020. Professor Boda explores the link between multiple sclerosis and pollution. Her project has been financed by the FISM – Italian Multiple Sclerosis Society Foundation and is about the role of the exposure to particulate matter (PM) and of the involvement of extracellular vesicles in the neuroinflammation and demyelination.
