Politecnico has opened a new Residence Hall, in memory of Professor Cesare Codegone. The building is located in Via Paolo Borsellino, within walking distance of Politecnico di Torino and is operated by Camplus, a housing provider for university students in many different Italian cities.
The nine-storey building has a total of 132 rooms, and can accommodate 144 people. Rooms are furnished and equipped with a fridge (for student use only). Free Wi-Fi is available to all students, along with a laundry room and a common area that includes kitchens, study rooms
and a leisure room equipped with a TV.
Camplus plans to open three new residence halls by 2021. They will be placed in Corso Ferrucci, Corso Peschiera and Corso Novara, for a total of 616 beds, thus reaching 2,380 beds for students in the city of Torino.
