The 70th anniversary of 25th April is approaching and Torino Jazz Festival (TJF) will start with the first of many events. We have been working hard to organize this day to celebrate Italy’s Liberation, thinking about the music (not only Jazz!) and the quality of the topics of the readings that will be presented during the happening. We hope that this event will gather a lot of people from Turin and from everywhere.

Liberation Day Jazz Festival celebrates the 70th anniversary with a dense program full of musical activities and readings that will take place in some important memorial location situated in Turin historical places. The symbol of the celebration is the wandering Dixieland Orchestra that will perform on moving vintage military means of transport. The day will be closing with a concert – linked with the activities offered by the hosting institutes – taking place in the afternoon under the arcade of Palazzo di San Celso (Museo Diffuso della Resistenza, corso Valdocco 4/a). Associazione Ar.Co.Te. is in charge of the musical activities, the readings and the organization of the celebration day.
