How to apply

Enrolment in one of the 3-year courses for the 2018/2019 a.y. can only be made online, after having passed the entrance exam.

From July 16 to August 26, 2018, you can apply online for the entrance tests.

It’s possible to apply for only one exam (equivalent to only one course).

The entrance exam consists of a first test, generally practical, which varies depending on the selected course, followed by an individual interview, which also varies depending on the course, and generally aimed at verifying the knowledge of art history from the XIV to the XXI century, and at knowing the reasons, interests and goals of the candidate. If the candidate wishes to do so, he/she can submit a portfolio of previous works in order to allow for an assessment on the level of preparation and past experiences.

Entrance exams will be held from September 10 to September 13.

For foreign students, the interview will also serve to assess the knowledge of Italian specific terminology and concepts of the selected course.

Preparation for the exam is up to the candidate and there are no recommendations about textbooks.

On this link you will find the specific content of the exam, according to the different courses, as well as information on where the exams for the 2018/2019 a.y. will be held.

Applicants who will pass the test will then be able to proceed with the enrolment from September 19 to September 30.
